The Bio Mats in Yellowstone can produce a number of intriguing colors and patterns...When we challenge ourselves to view it in a different orientation, this puzzle piece takes on a new story... That of light and dark, lines, hue and movement. This portion reminded me of a river of molten copper. The blue band on the far right is actually a reflection of the sky

Organic Abstract III

Taken at the Silex Spring in Yellowstone. Once again, simply cropping the image and re-orienting the 'puzzle piece' can spark the imagination. Now the deep blue cavern reminds me of a passage to another dimension in time and space.
